Of characteristic form, with well-carved horn grip and find handwrought curved, double-edged steel blade with pronounced central ridge and gold inlay decoration to either side with traces of wootz forging. In its wooden sheath with embroidered covering and silver-inlaid steel mounts. 19th century. Overall length 33.5cm./ 13 ¼ inches. Condition II
