Description
With polished grips and silver tangband, with fine and actively-patterned Persian black wootz steel blade. The leather-covered wooden scabbard with large, engraved silver mounts with panels of gilding. Retains its fine woven Uzbek silk embroidered suspension band, the woven tassels intact. Mid-19th century. Minor wear. Overall length of dagger 24cm./ 9 1/2 inches. Condition III
