Description
A large example, the polished grips of with massive ears, the bolsters, reinforces and recurved blade finely inlaid with silver decorations to either side together with an inscription dated 1278 a.h. (1861/2 c.e.) In its velvet-covered scabbard with silver mounts, the dolphin head finial with coral eyes. Dated 1861/2. Well worn. Overall length 78.5cm./ 30 7/8 inches. Condition III
