Description
The bronze hilt with antler grip, the guard terminating in a pair of hooves. The broad, single-edged blade tapering to the tip with distinct back edge, elaborately etched overall and struck by the maker at the forte WKC beneath a helmet logo. In its leather scabbard with brass mounts. 19th-20th century. Minor wear and losses. Overall length 60.5cm./ 23 ¾ inches. Condition III
