The well-wrought steel hilt with complex geometrical silver inlay, the massive broad, curved, single-edged blade showing substantial evidence of pattern welded damascus steel forging. Retains its velvet-covered wooden scabbard. 18th- 19th century. Minor wear. Overall length 92cm./ 36 ¼ inches. Condition III
