Description
High quality workmanship, the two-piece skull with pronounced comb and roped ridge, the finely-wrought visor and bevor sharing a common pivot as is typical. The visor with narrow rectangular ocularia and raising stud, the bevor with multiple breaths to the right side. The gorget composed of broad lames with turned edge and roped borders. Minor wear. Mid-19th century. Cleaned. Height 40cm/ 15 ¾ inches. Condition II
