Acehnese work, a rare example handwrought entirely of brass, rather than cast as is typical. Embellished with seven stars and decorated with broad vinework borders and scalloped edge. Retains its original grip wrap to the reverse. Latter 19th century. Diameter 34.7cm./ 13 ¾ inches. Condition II
