Description
Mughal work, of characteristic hemispherical form with top spike, adjustable nasal bar and plume tubes, embellished with engraved bands of spiral flowering vines with panels of gold inlay, the broad borders containing Arabic inscriptions. Retains its camail of steel rings with brass border and pointed termini. Mid-19th century. Minor wear. Height including camail 57 CM, 22 and 7/16 inches. Condition II
