With massive horn grips of Balkan form, the elaborate tangband and bolsters of brass. The broad, single-edged recurved blade with narrow fuller and illegible inscription. In its well-tooled leather-covered wooden scabbard the locket and chape of brass. First half of the 19th century. Overall length- 77.5cm /30 1/2 inches. Minor areas of light pitting to blade. Condition III
