Description
The wooden tree covered in panels of black leather, the pommel and cantle elaborately embellished with nielloed silver ornaments, the saddle aprons and skirts tooled in traditional motifs. Brass stirrups. Complete trappings, comprising a bridle, reins, breaststrap and tailstrap of leather elaborately studded with large, nielloed silver ornaments en suite with the saddle. Black leather saddle pad intact. Mid-19th century. Minor worming, worn. Saddle 43 cm overall length. Condition II
