Very seldom encountered, of characteristic planked construction, covered in deeply-patinaed leather. The surface set with brass studs in geometrical motifs, a hemispherical brass boss at the center with pierced hearts revealing scarlet textile beneath. The reverse covered in worn leather with original slings intact. 18th-19th century. Worn. Diameter 46.8cm / 18 ??. Condition III
