With characteristic brass pommel and three-branch guard struck 35 on the base, the leather-covered wooden grip with leather covering and retaining its twisted wire wrap. The massive curved and fullered blade struck F.H. in an oval cartouche at the left forte for F. HORSTER and an unidentified mark at the right. In its steel scabbard. Mid-19th century. Leather rubbed, scabbard with surface rust. Overall length 109.5 cm / 43 1/8?. Condition III
