Rarely encountered, the grips carved of bone, with rolled Ottoman-type pommel, and cusped fingerstall to either side. With silver bolsters and broad, deeply-curved blade with narrow groove to the forte and scimitar makers mark to the right side. In its engraved silver scabbard. 19th century. Overall length 26.3cm/ 10 23/64 inches. Condition II
