The long, broad handforged blade with hardened edge and distinctive curve and expanded, pierced tip with spikelet, showing its layered construction, the wooden grip with flared pommel bound with broad steel bands. 18th-19th century. Minor wear. Overall length 94.6cm./ 37 ¼ inches. Condition III
