Description
The grip carved of finely-grained banati wood, with large kakatua pommel set with a mother of pearl talismanic disc, the ferrule of silver. The broad, handforged blade showing active pattern welded forging. In its banati wood scabbard with fine okir motifs. Second half of the 19th century. Minor losses, scabbard tip lacking. Overall length 70.7cm/ 27 ¾ inches. Condition III
