Visayan work, a massive example of scimitar form with characteristic horn grip and brass mounts with large, recurved guard. The heavy blade with slight curvature and clipped tip, showing clear handforging with a rare makers stamp. 19th century. Well worn overall. Overall length 50.8cm./ 20 inches. Condition III
