With characteristic turned wooden grip, the pommel and guard steel. The blade of bowie form elaborately etched overall in vegetal motifs and inscribed, FABRICA DE TOLEDO and VLP. Mid-19th century. Old collection tag to grip. Well worn, pitted. Overall length 32.5cm./ 12 ¾ inches. Condition IV
