Description
The cup well chiseled and pierced with alternating panels of vine and leaf work throughout, with long, wrenched quillons and knucklebow and intact guardapolvo, the pommel chiseled en suite. Grip retains its steel wire wrap. The long, double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal section with short fuller at the forte. Mid-17th century. Minor wear. Overall length 117cm./ 46 1/16 inches. Condition III
