A RARE BOSNIAN YATAGHAN SWORD
Description
With broad-eared horn grips wrapped with gilt braid and broad, bellied blade wrought with a characteristic T-back. A mark in the form of a scimitar endemic to Bosnian smiths inscribed at the right forte and what appears to be a stylized eagle to the left. 18th-19th century. Well worn. Overall length 70.8cm./28 inches. Condition III
