Description
With massive horn grips of Balkan form, the elaborate tangband and bolsters of silver. The broad, single-edged recurved blade well-wrought and inscribed WORK OF MEHMET / OWNER IBRAHIM and dated 1226 a.h. (1811 c.e.) Dated 1811. Repairs to reinforces, blade with areas of light pitting. Overall length 71.7cm. / 28 1/4 inches.
