Description
Of characteristic broad, leaf-shaped form. The first finely wrought with high central ridge and raised, chamfered edges with thickened tip and conical socket. The second likely wrought during the Sudanese Uprising (1881-1899,) showing substantial wear overall. Second half of the 19th century. As found. Overall length of the longer 37.2cm./ 14 ¾ inches. Condition V
