Description
Carved of wood and heavily lacquered and inlaid with mother of pearl, the interior of each lacquered red. Together with a miniature kabuto helmet and pair of miniature tachi swords made for Tango No Sekku, or Boy’s Day Celebration. Abumi 18th-19th century. Minor wear. Overall length 24.8cm./ 9 ¾ inches. Condition III
