Description
Edo era, made for a high-ranking samurai. Comprising a tatami kabuto of small rectangular plates lacquered brown and connected by mail. The tatami do of dark brown steel plates connected by mail, likewise the kusazuri. The sode of mail with dark brown lacquered steel plates, the haidate of plates lacquered dark brown. The suneate likewise composed of dark brown-lacquered steel plates. C. 1750. General wear, losses to lacquer particularly to helmet. Overall height of do 114cm / 44 3/4 inches. STAND NOT INCLUDED. Condition III
