Description
Of characteristic planked construction, covered in finely tooled and colored leather. The surface set with brass studs in geometrical motifs together with pierced brass plates backed by red cotton, and a brass boss at the center bearing a removable steel spike. The reverse covered in leather with suspension bands and spike sheath intact. 20th century. Minor wear. Diameter 52cm / 20 1/2 inches. Condition III
