Description
A fine, large example, with rare silver-mounted grips intricately incised and engraved overall. Heavy, single-edged blade with deep fullers and elaborately profiled and engraved bolsters and panels of embossed and engraved silver inlay. Retains its rare wooden scabbard. 17th-18th century. Some wear, scabbard well worn. Overall length 34.7cm / 13 21/23 inches. Condition III
