Description
Luo People a Sudanic group which migrated to Kenya and Tanzania. Of a single large section of cowhide with the hair on, the wooden frame bound with rawhide. Embellished with a double horn motif accomplished by cutting away the hair and infilling with white pigment. Early 20th century. Overall length 60cm./ 24 inches. Condition II
