Likely Moros of Maguindanao work. A massive example well-carved hardwood hilt retaining original plaited rattan bands. The large, handwrought blade showing evidence of layering, set with a turquoise talisman, and expanded, angled tip. Late 19th- 20th century. Overall length 101.5cm / 39 ¾ inches. Condition III
