Description
A rare example of Hijazi type, known as a Dharia, the grip mounted in silver with filigreed bosses and set with a coral, the wooden scabbard mounted en suite, entirely in filigreed silver with a coral. The broad handwrought blade with central rib, lightly curved and double-edged. Retains its leather belt. 20th century. Minor wear. Overall length 46.4cm / 18 17/64 inches. Condition II
