A fine, large example, with rare silver-mounted grips intricately incised and engraved overall. Heavy, single-edged blade with deep fullers and elaborately profiled and engraved bolsters and panels of embossed and engraved silver inlay. Retains its rare wooden scabbard. 18th century. Minor wear, scabbard well worn. Overall length 32.4cm / 12 ½ inches. Condition III
