Description
Early Qing Dynasty, the blade showing active layering in its forging, of typical curved form with pronounced clipped tip and engraved panels to each side. With round steel guard and long, leather-covered wooden grip with brass studs and what is reputedly a Tong mark of an open hand. 18-19th century. Worn, minor edge nicks, guard loose. Overall length 74.5cm./ 29 ½ inches. Condition III
