A form endemic to the Bhil people of Central India, the steel head forged with a rare waved bit terminating in cusps, the socket wrought with a pronounced flange. On its rare polychromed hardwood haft with bands of fine geometrical detailing. Latter 18th century. Minor wear. Overall length 96cm/ 37 ¾ inches. Condition II
