Description
Serbian work, the walnut stocks finely carved and inlaid with silver wire, with elaborately-modeled brass furniture retaining some gilding, with silver escutcheons, filigreed, nielloed and set with corals. The locks finely wrought, the stepped barrels inlaid at the breech with makers marks in brass and lightly gilded at the midpoint. 1750-1800. Slight wear, gilding rubbed. Overall length 49cm/ 19 3/8 inches. Condition II
