Comprising a well-wrought, fullered dagger with exceptional hilt of solid silver, faceted and engraved overall, with conical pommel. In its fine silver scabbard with matching steel stylus, filigreed locket and chape, with multistrand handwrought silver chain containing a tweezer, earpick, sharpening steel and suspension hook. 18th century. Minor wear, blade with areas of pitting. Overall length 24.3cm/ 9 ½ inches. Condition III
