Mughal work, the head finely wrought with a quadrangular head showing fine areas of damascus steel patterning, and a faceted socket, likewise showing patternwelded damascus. The matching butt with long spike surmounting a spherical section, with faceted socket also displaying a faint patternwelded damascus pattern. 17th century. Minor wear. Overall length of head 35.8cm/ 14 1/8 inches. Condition II
