Description
Mughal work, an earlier example than usually encountered. Finely wrought, the hemispherical bowl, spike finial and plume tubes, all embellished with flowering vinework in gold. Retains its sliding nasal and camail of very fine steel and copper rings, together with its original padded cotton liner. 17th-18th century. Minor wear. Height 39.5cm/ 15 ½ inches. Condition II
