Description
Mughal work, very rarely encountered complete. Forged of heavy, riveted rings set with six steel plates across the breast, the back with five rows of small lamellar plates, all connected with mail. Half-length sleeves, retains its original woven red piping. First half of the 18th century. Some closures replaced and mail repaired in period. Overall length from nape to hem 60cm/ 23 1/8 inches. Condition III
