Qajar-era, the helmet handwrought in the form of a demons head, with pronounced eyebrows, eyes and nose, with separately applied horns, mustache, nasal and top spike. The camail of butted rings terminating in three points. With considerable remains of intricate silver inlaid designs. 19th century. Overall height 38.5cm / 15 3/16”. Age darkening, minor areas of pitting. Condition III
