The fanciful hilt with fully modeled Mexican eagle head pommel and snake guard, wrought entirely in iron and finely inlaid in silver. The curved blade with bifullered forte with thrusting tip, inscribed FABRICA REAL (?) DE TOLEDO ANO DE 1819. First quarter of the 19th century. Blade with areas of pitting. Overall length 84.5cm/ 33 ¼ inches. Condition III
