The crested grip well-carved of banati wood, the ferrule with panels of woven coir. The heirloom handforged blade showing clear layered construction and temperline. In its wooden scabbard with finely-carved panels of okir decoration at the throat and tip and rattan wrap to the center. First half of the 20th century. Minor wear. Overall length 59.5cm/ 25 1/8 inches. Condition II
