The crested grip well-carved of banati wood, the ferrule with panels of woven coir. The massive, handforged blade showing clear patternwelded construction. In its wooden scabbard with finely-carved panels of okir decoration at the throat and rattan wrap. First half of the 20th century. Minor wear overall, loss to scabbard tip. Overall length 64cm/ 25 1/8 inches. Condition III
