Wearing a black lacquer hood with peaceful countenance and arms crossed over his chest, and a red-lacquered loincloth with long legs extended. With bone fittings and brass habaki and straight, single-edged blade. 20th century. Overall length 26.2cm/ 10 3/8 inches.
