A large example of a classic type, with patinaed bone grips and well-wrought blade with T-back, chamfered edge and armor-piercing tip. In its leather-covered wooden scabbard with faceted steel chape. Retains its frog and studded black leather sling. Late 19th century. Old repair to grip, leather rubbed. Overall length 44.5cm/ 17.5 inches. Condition III
