Very rarely encountered, formed of a dense section of tree branch which retains most original surface. Slightly curved at the rounded tip, showing abrasions from use, the grip pierced for a lanyard and shows impressions of a former wire wrap. 19th century or earlier. Retains a fine patina. Overall length 68 cm./ 26 ? inches. Condition III
