Entirely of hardwood with very dark finish, the head and grip carved in spiral bands, the shaft terminating in a brass chape. Retains much of its woven binding. Mid-late 19th century. Minor rubbing, tassel lacking. Overall length 109.5cm./ 43 inches. Condition II
