Description
The pommel wrought entirely of engraved brass filigree with characteristic woven tassel intact, the well-wrought steel guard with expanded quillon terminals. The broad, double-edged blade wrought with three fullers and struck with a pair of crescents to either side and etched with a moon and star at the forte. In its stamped leather scabbard with white crocodile slings and brass chape. Minor wear, scabbard leather quite tender. Overall length 108.3cm./ 42 ? inches. Condition III
