Description
The horn grips set with numerous brass rosettes and engraved brass reinforces. The well-wrought, fullered blade inlaid with a short Ottoman inscription. In its leather-covered wooden scabbard with brass mounts; interestingly, it is intended to be slug at the side, as a sword. Early 19th century. Ears chipped, leather well worn. Overall length 77cm./30 5/8 inches. Condition III
