With gold and silver inlaid iron mounts and kozuka and signed kokatana, with black-lacquered and textured scabbard. The blade of aikuchi yoroidoshi form, intended for armor-piercing. Blade in good polish with sugu temperline and active hada. Signed and papered to TOKYO FUJIWARA HIDEYUKI TSUKURU and dated MAY 1869. With its storage bag. Dated 1868. Mounts rubbed, blade with small area of rust at tip. Overall length 37.3cm. /14 11/16 inches. Nagasa 20.1cm/ 8 1/16 inches. Condition II
