The forged iron hilt of characteristic form, elaborately chiseled overall, with downturned quillons terminating in elaborate monster heads. The broad, fullered blade with expanded tip and back edge, struck with numerous marks at the forte. Mid-19th century. Worn. Overall length 89 cm. Condition III
