Description
Comprising a helmet, shield, dagger and battle axe, all well-wrought of steel. The helmet of hemispherical form with scalloped border and top spike, plume tubes and adjustable nasal with camail of butted rings, falling in three points. The circular shield lightly domed, with applied scalloped border, set with four bosses. The axe with semicircular blade with top spike and flared butt. The dagger with flared pommel and damascus steel blade. All finely inlaid en suite with intricate geometrical patterns in fine silver. With full padding and grips to shield intact. 20th century. Diameter of shield 43cm. Condition II
