Description
Siege weight, well-wrought with deep flutes, rolled and roped borders at the neck and sides, the lower edge flanged, with rolled edge at the center. Retains its star-shaped rivet burs with remains of leather straps. Bears chiseled maker’s initials RF together with crescent and star marks. 17th century or later. Worn, cleaned bright. Overall height 41 cm. Condition IV
